Pop-up community radio station for Chiltern to hit the airwaves this winter
Pop-up FM radio station Chiltern District Radio station will hit the airwaves for two weeks only in February.
The station has been licensed by Ofcom and will broadcast on 87.9 FM, as well as on the internet, to Chesham, Amersham, Great Missenden and surrounding areas from February 7, with pre-recorded programmes, before going live during the half-term break from February 14.
Congratulations are due to Paul Forster of Ley Hill who was included in the 2016 News Years Honours list. Paul bcomes a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to Patients with Prostate Cancer.
There have been reports of vandalism and antisocial behaviour at the Meadhams Farm brickworks. Local dog walkers have voiced their concern over damage to fencing and the presence of a number of nails and screws on the access road.

The Chiltern and South Bucks Community Safety Partnership held four tool marking and advice events across the two districts in April. Events took place at South Heath Garden Centre, Wyevale Garden Centre in Beaconsfield, Van Hage in Chenies and Wickes in Chesham.
